Why do you want to become an astronaut?

Pride is the main strength that pushes me to apply to become an astronaut.

The pride of becoming a leaf in the amazing tree of exploration history with its deep roots in the first voyages of greek sailors all through the Mediterranean sea and further, its main branches with the wonderful travels of Columbus, Polo, Urdaneta, Ulloa or Admunsen - all of the European who has allowed us to know the world as we do today; The pride of adding my name to the heroes of space exploration as Gagarin, Armstrong, Tereshkova, Krikaliov, and of course López-Alegría and Duque.
